With over 15 years of experience we have managed to refine our Organics Recycling Process and can offer our customers an environmentally friendly method for handling a range of organic wastes including green waste, food waste and sludges.

compost

We operate an In-Vessel Composting facility which processes mixed food and green waste from kerbside collections. The enclosed vessels convert the waste into compost for use in agriculture, landscaping and land restoration.

We also have an Open Windrow Composting facilities which processes green waste only.

We produce compost for a wide range of applications from soil enrichment to top dressing. All of our products meet BSI PAS 100 standards.

Anaerobic digestion

Our organic recycling facility includes a innovative pre-treatment process, producing and blending an optimised Anaerobic Digestion (AD) feedstock from incoming waste which is supplied to Anaerobic Digestion Plants for the generation of renewable energy.

The liquid AD feedstock is fed straight into a storage tank ready for bulk export by tanker, offering AD plants a tailor made feedstock – a product that can feed straight into the AD process and is designed to achieve optimum bio-gas potential whilst alleviating any potential process or contamination issues and ensuring a high quality digestate is produced.

This process has doubled our food waste recycling capacity whilst also creating a blended Liquid AD stock that has the ideal properties to achieve maximum gas yield.

COMPOST

Levenseat Compost is able to provide a short term ‘hit’ of nutrients followed by a slow release over an extended period.

Use on our own farms has shown this material to be ideal for use in agriculture as it increases fertility while replacing chemical fertilisers.

Our compost is BSI pas 100 compliant which means you are buying a product that is guaranteed to be high quality, everything from the selection of materials from which compost is made to the processing and storing of compost and even how it is labelled are monitored and produced to the PAS 100 standards.

Dependant on application, various screened grades are available, we can advise on a case by case basis, however our standard grade is 20mm down which is ideal for application on agricultural land and incorporation into soils.

Delivery can be arranged as required.
