Levenseat Renewable Energy Ltd (LREL) have today announced the decision to bring the operations and maintenance contract for the LREL Power Plant in house. The news comes following Metso Outotec’s, the current provider, plans to exit the Energy from Waste market in the UK. All staff based at the LREL Power Plant will transfer to LREL as of 1st May 2023.
Commenting on the Announcement, Bruce Moffatt, General Manager for LREL said ‘We are delighted to formally complete the transfer and welcome our colleagues into the LREL family. Today marks the start of a new chapter for the team at LREL, bringing the contract in house will allow us to continue with business as usual. As we enter this new chapter, we would like to take the opportunity to thank Metso Outotec for their support over the years.

Fuel supply: from adjacent MRF facility with capacity to process 215,000 tonnes per annum
