Recycling and waste management business Levenseat has announced plans to invest £4m upgrading a new Materials Recycling Facility (MRF), which it purchased for an undisclosed sum from Avondale Environmental today. West Lothian headquartered Levenseat says it will introduce new technologies and automated processes at the Falkirk site where it plans to create up to 50 skilled jobs.

Lanarkshire-based recycling and waste management solutions business Levenseat has developed a new stream of accredited products that provide a sustainable and lower cost alternative to virgin aggregates used in construction projects. The new products are the first in Scotland to have secured ‘end-of-waste’ status from the country’s environmental regulator SEPA.

Levenseat will be conducting steam blowing to the pipelines and equipment at the Levenseat Renewable Energy Power Plant on the 13th July. The Steam blowing is required as part of the maintenance procedure following repair work to the system.
